Jane Human graduated from Brighton Polytechnic (now University of Brighton) in 1981. She has worked for many years as an illustrator and artist with design agencies and publishers of international reputation across the fields of corporate design, packaging, advertising, books, editorial and interiors. This includes a diverse range of projects for clients such as Royal Mail, Cunard QEII, Marks and Spencer, Telegraph newspapers, Heinemann, Anton Mosimann . BBC Worldwide.
Teaching roles have included a Senior Lectureship at University of Northumbria and latterly at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
She has been invited as Guest speaker at Bath, Wolverhampton, and Brighton Universities and Savannah College of Art and Design (USA) amongst others and was a Jury Member for The Scottish Design Awards 2004.
Throughout this period, Jane Human has always maintained her practice as an exhibiting artist, and has exhibited work in many selected group shows nationwide. Her work is included in many private collections in Gt Britain, Ireland and USA.
